THE ISU PEOPLE NOW HAVE A WEBSITE
The Isu people have taken another significant step towards promoting their language, preserving their cultural heritage, and strengthening their identity in the digital world. The Isu people now have a website!
Over the past two weeks, members of the Esu Language and Literacy Development Association (ELLDA) have made remarkable progress in their ongoing efforts to promote language development and literacy. Among the various activities they have been engaged in, one notable achievement has been their involvement in the development of the Isu website.
This initiative marks an important milestone in making information about the Isu people, their language, culture, history, and identity and the word of God in their language more accessible to a wider audience. It also creates an opportunity to connect Isu people at home and in the diaspora while providing a digital platform for promoting and preserving God's Word in indzəŋi Usu, and their rich heritage for future generations.
The development of the website reflects the commitment of ELLDA members to ensuring that the Isu language and cultural identity remain visible, valued, and accessible in an increasingly digital world.
Although there is still more work to be done, this progress demonstrates what can be achieved through collaboration, dedication, and a shared vision for the future of the Isu people.
Congratulations to ELLDA and the entire Isu community on this important achievement!
